Running Bare

'Rachel Tank' & 'Rock It 1/2 Tights' c/o Running Bare

Yesterday I attended the Running Bare 30th Birthday Celebration.  The fun started the night before when our outfits arrived (above).  To be honest, I was a little bit nervous about committing to wearing an outfit without knowing whether it was going to fit properly.  As I tried it on though, I was pleasantly surprised.  Both the tights and the top fit perfectly.  My biggest concern was that the top would be too tight across my stomach (after two babies I like a little room for forgiveness there), but it ended up fitting nicely across the shoulders and chest with just enough give in the stomach and hips to make it very flattering.  The tights are so comfortable and have a little zip pocket just above the buttocks for a key or similar (I am totally in love with practical features like this!)
All dressed and ready to celebrate I headed to Flow Athletic, our first destination for the day where we were treated to a TRX Yoga class instructed by the beautiful and very fit Katie Kendall.

This was the first time I have tried TRX and I can tell you, today I have muscles hurting that I didn't even know I had.  TRX is fabulous for core strength and it was awesome looking around the room at all the gorgeous women dressed in their bright Running Bare workout gear.  We might have been secretly struggling with those TRX straps, but at least we looked the part!

After our workout we were treated to a delicious breakfast made by Sydney Picnic Company. They honestly won my heart with the Baked Ricotta, Bircher Muesli and Nudie Juice - just what I needed after my tiring workout!

With tired muscles and full bellies we were chauffeured by Uber to and from the very trendy Stevie English Hair Salon in Bondi for some pampering (watch for a post about Uber coming soon - I'm so excited to tell you all about them).  At the salon one of Stevie's senior stylists Elly waved her magic curling wand and my drab post-workout hair quickly became less drab and much more fab.

As I'm sure you have probably gathered, I enjoyed my day thoroughly so a big thank you goes out to Running Bare for inviting me! I hope your 30th Birthday Celebration was a huge success.
