Change your life. One step at a time.

Everyone has dreams for their life.  Big dreams and little dreams.  Big goals and little goals.  Everyone has a picture in their minds of what they would like their life to look like.  Sometimes, the only thing holding us back from these dreams or goals, is ourselves.

I've got a few goals at the moment and I just haven't been able to make any progress towards achieving them, so I decided it was time to break them down and take baby steps towards achieving them. In case you missed it, here is the post about baby steps and goals setting here.  The key is, take a baby step and then build on it.  I'm setting one baby-step per week and building on it over the month.

As a little added motivation, I thought I'd do a little series on my goals and my progress.  It will help me stay motivated if I know I'm accountable to all of you as well!

The goal for this month is to 'eat clean'.  Our diet is quite good but there is definitely room for improvement and I love the idea of the majority of our diet being fresh, whole foods (and organic where possible).

So my baby-steps are:

Week 1:  Breakfast. My goal is to eat 'clean' for breakfast every day this week. 
Week 2:  Morning Tea.  Start eating my yogurt again, encourage the kids to try healthier yogurts.
Week 3:  Lunch - more salads and protein - less bread.
Week 4:  Dinner - Try at least two new 'clean' recipes. (Most of our dinners are very fresh already).
